About L-K Metal Products Co. Limited
Our Heritage:
L-K Metal Products was founded in 1928 by J. R.Lynn and a partner Mr. Haven Kimmerly, hence the name L-K. At the time, Mr. Lynn was already operating J. R. Lynn Sheet Metal which began in1921. Mr Kimmerly left the partnership in 1938. It wasn’t until after the Great Depression and World War II, in the early 1950’s, that L-K Metal began to grow. J. R. Lynn’s two eldest sons, Jack and Dewart, were managing L-K Metal while Murray and his father continued to operate J. R. Lynn Sheet Metal until Mr. Lynn’s retirement in 1955.
L-K Metal Products Co. Limited was incorporated in 1952 with Jack, Dewart and Murray as principals. At this time, L-K was not only a heating wholesaler, but also a small manufacturer of metal products including duct work, stove pipe, and even radiator cowls for farm equipment. By the end of the 1950’s, manufacturing had given way to a focus on wholesaling HVAC equipment and supplies. As the company grew, warehousing became an issue and inventory was actually being stored in rented neighbourhood garages and warehouses. In 1966, L-K Metal relocated to the current Lincoln Road location. Since that time, the building has undergone three expansions and today encompasses 55,000 square feet resting on 3.2 acres in the heart of Windsor.

Our Present:
Although the corporation is now owned by Mr. Silver Leach, who joined the company as an employee in 1966, Murray continues to be an active contributor to the daily function of the business. His experience is priceless and his jokes, stories, and encouragement brighten the day. With a staff of twenty-nine dedicated employees, many of whom have been here for over thirty years, as well as several new and energetic players, we have a team with both hands on knowledge and fresh training ideas. These employees are people dedicated to their career at L-K and, as a result, committed to serving our customers as well. They include our professional engineering staff, experienced technicians, knowledgeable sales staff, dedicated delivery people and 
competent administrative personnel. Our fleet of trucks includes a tractor trailer, a large van unit, three cube vans, a pickup, and our five ton crane truck. With this modern well maintained fleet, we are able to provide prompt delivery from Windsor to London and beyond. Our new training facility allows us to hold classes for our customers on HVAC related topics. With knowledgeable instructors from both in house and outside sources, we strive to improve the competency of those installing our products, giving them an edge on the competition and a quality installation for the consumer.
